The Tuscaloosa Observer gives an ac- count of a desperate out lawin that county named Wm. Lovejoy. Anindictment was pending against himi and the deputy Sheriff was attempting to arrest him. He fired upon the Sheriff with a double barrol gun and rode off in a hurry. - He stopped 3 miles from town and took a negro from a field and forced lim to gro to the woods where lie shot him and left him for dead.
