Bodies of Two Negroes Found Shot to Death
Tuscaloosa, Ala., March 27.-(LP)- Ernest Elrod of Elrod, Ala., is under $2,000 bond here today, following the finding yesterday of the bodies of two negroes, Dave and Jerry Brown, who had been shot to death.
Local officials say Elrod admitted the killing and stated that he was pre- paring to come to Tuscaloosa to surrender. His release on bond was ordered following an investigation by Coroner S. T. Hardin.
