- CALM AND COLLECTED. Nineteen Minutes After the Drop Fell He was a Corpse. MONTGOMERY, ALA., Jan. 25.-At Eutaw, Ala., a negro named James Seames was hanged to-day for the murder of Deputy Sheriff Autrey of Tuscaloosa, about six months ago. He was calm and collected, and died in nineteen minutes after the drop fell.
