Tuscaloosa County Boy Faces Trial In Connection With Death Of Negro
TUSCALOOSA, Ala., April 3.- Daniel Hayes, 19, is held in the county jail pending a preliminary hearing on charges in connection with the death of Felix Thomas, negro, who was shot at Fleetwood. Thomas died in the Druid City Hospital from his wounds. Hayes claims he shot the negro after threats had been made against him. He will be given a preliminary hearing the first of the week.
