Thirteen city appeal cases and eleven state cases are on the docket of the circuit court here for hearing tomorrow. But two days of hearings have been set, and on Tuesday Daniel Hays, white boy, will face a charge of manslaughter in the first degree in connection with the shooting of a negro at the Fleetwood mine recently as a result of a dispute over the ownership of a job there. The negro died at the hospital here from the effects of a wound from a small-bore shotgun.
