SIX ACCUSED IN ALABAMA LYNCHING Negro Is Taken From Home and Shot By United Press TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Sept. 25.—Six white men, who impersonated police officers, were sought today as the slayers of Dennis Cross, Negro charged with accosting a white woman. Cross, free on bond, was taken from his home to an isolated spot near the city limits, and shot. Sheriff R. L. Shamblin said the only clue was the tire tracks of the slayers' automobile.
