TWO DIE Al HANDS Of ALABAMA MOB -IN ESCAPES
- - Tuscaloosa. Ala., Aug. 17.— The grand jury investigating the lynching of Dan Pippen, Jr., and A. T. Hardin early last Sunday morning by a mob why took three persons from county deputies late Saturday night, recessed Wednesday until Sept. 4, when, it is announced, the jury will make further drebe. No indictments were returned by the grand jury and no report was made. Several witnesses, including Elmore Clark, who escaped the mob. appeared before the inquisitorial body.
