The State of Alabama, Elmore County.
To any Ordained or Licensed Minister of the Gospel, Judge of the Circuit or County Courts, or Justice of the Peace for said County- GREETING : You are hereby authorized to celebrate the Rites of Abutrimony between Lewis Fleming colored, and Dinah Burrnett colored, and this shall be your sufficient authority for so doing. Given under my hand and seal, this 8th day of November A. D. 1867 and of American Independence the 95 year.
