THE DEATH of James Earl "Bronco", Motley, a 27-year-old Negro, in Wetumpka, Alabama, following his arrest by, Sheriff's Deputy Harvey Conner was investigated at a coroner's inquest. Witnesses said Conner severely beat the, resistant Motley while State troopers held, him. Motley was found dead in his cell, last Sunday. Evidence will be turned, over to a grand jury.
