- Two Girls Lynched Thursday morning the bodies of Mollie Smith and Maud Franks' negro girls were found swinging from the trees on the side of the road from Jeff to Huntsville Ala The lynching was done by a mob The girls were suspected of poisoning the family of Joseph Kelly at Jeff.
