Alex Hill’s trial ended at 2 pm when the jury found him guilty of murder and sentenced him to death. He was ably defended and the jury had good men in it. He was the first man legally hung in Bibb County. Will went with Alex but had nothing to do with what follows. Alex purposely shot Mrs. Hubbard, then Mr. Hubbard. Will was tied to a tree and shot by Mr. Hubbard.
