Alex Hill owed Rufus Hubbard, a farmer, some money. The demand infuriated Hill and went to the Hubbard's residence with his brother. They had a double barrel shot gun and a pistol. When Mrs. Hubbard turned they shot her in the back. The second shot hit Mr. Hubbard in the leg and the arm. One of the Hubbards children was shot too. There is a posse looking for the brothers and supposedly Will Hill was captured.
