A community might wreak havoc like the Sam Hose kind. The armed men were looking for Bud Hargrove and Alex Hill for committing the crime. The motive of the crime was revenge. They worked for Mr. Hubbard, but were fired for good cause. A farmer went there to get ammunition and told of the crime that happened. Men left their work to search for the men. Some talked of burning the men at the stake. The Hubbard’s used to live in Blocton, but moved twelve years ago to their home now. Alex Hill passed through Blocton on June 5. It wasn’t known of what he had committed even though parties noticed him. Will Hill was caught and it is thought that he has had a new neck tie placed around his neck.
