The men were employed by Hubbard The man had a dispute over money and said they desereved more than they owed. They got in an argument with the Hubbards and shot their guns. There was agressive talk going through the neighborhood. Hubbard is a well-to-do farmer The scene of the crime is ar Eoline, a station on the Mobile and Ohio railroad.
