GOT TWENTY YEARS. Frank Saffold Convicted in Bibb- O. T. Head Acquitted. Judge Banks has returned from Centerville, Bibb couuty, where he has been holding court. Frank Saffold, the negro who assaulted an on old white woman and was in jail here for safe keeping for a long time, having been taken back to Bibb county last Monday, was convicted of assault with intent to rape, and sentenced to twenty years in the penitentiary. He will be taken to the mines this week. O T Head, a white man, who was charged with complicity with Wiley Trott in the murder of Sheriff Jones, of Louisians, at Randolph, was aquited, affter an interesting trial. It will be remembered that Trott was convicted of the Jones murder a year ago and given a life sentence and not long since escaped from jail here, having been confined there pending an appeal.
