FBI Is Investigating Negro's Jail Death Washington, Nov. 22 LPI-The FBI is investigating the death Sunday of a 27-year-old Negro man in the Elmore County Jail at Wetumpka Ala., the Department of Justice said today. The FBI was asked to make the study a spokesman said, to see il there were any violations of Federal law. It received word of the death yesterday. James Earl Motley, of Wetumpka, was taken dead from the jail early Sunday morning.
