J. Blankenship, James D. Oglesby, Elisha Green, and Tom Russell are in jail for being apart of the members who made a black man stand on a stump and shot him to death. A special session of the Bibb County Court has been summoned for June 23, 1919 to investigate. The murder occurred near Greenwood, Alabama and other African American were mistreated by the same party. There has been trouble between the two races where the shooting occurred.
