On August 13, 1933, A.T. Hardin, 15 years old, was lynched in Woodstock, Bibb County, AL. He was lynched by two carloads of armed masked white men after being accused of murdering Vaudine Maddox. Hardin was a single farm laborer and the son of Bud Hardin and Rosa Jackson.
