- The cotton along the Sanders and Fosters Ferry roads is looking tinely. There is not only a large weed but the stalk is fruiting finely. The only effect of the long drouth is seen in the bare spots, caused by the seed not having enough moisture to germinate. Look out for a large number of bales on the Tuskaloosa market later on.
