- Innocent Man Shot For Murder. (By the Associated Press.) Tuscaloosa, Ala., Dec. 5.-Ben Knox was shot and instantly killed today by Tossie King, who had been authorized to arrest Knox for the alleged killing of Deputy Sheriff Dismukes at Artesia, Miss. Later it developed that Knox was innocent.
