Transcript: Man Killed Was Innocent. Tuscaloosa, Ala., Dec. 5.-Ben Knox was shot and instantly killed to-day by Tossie King, who had been authorized to arrest Knox for the alleged killing of Deputy Sheriff Dismukes at Artesia, Miss. Later it developed that Knox was innocent.
