- John, alias Balus (negro), was pretty badly bruised and cheeped in a street fight with a white man last Saturday noon. This will, doubtless, serve as a caution to those many insolent negroes, who essay to, fight the ruling race of, the, laud. Let no white man, here after, tamely submit to abuse from negroes. Let no white man stand passively by, and see a fellow white man assaulted by a negro, without pitching into the latter in a manner calculated to rid the community of the black scoundrel Let no crowds: of incendiary no to meet at street corners - there to inter change impotent sent threat, Disband them.
