- BOUND OVER TO THE GRAND JURY JOE MORGAN HAS PRELIMINARY BEFORE JUSTICE BRADY ON CHARGE OF SHOOTING NEGRO-NO BAIL Joe Morgan, the white man brought here last Monday from Lock 16, charged with killing Lamb Moss, a negro at that point, had a preliminary hearing before Justice of the Peace John Brady yesterday afternoon, the result of the hearing being that he was held to await the action of the Grand Jury and no bail was allowed Morgan entered a plea of self defense to the charge He was represented by Mr Daniel Collier, Mr Fleetwood Rice conducting the prosecution
