STATE OF ALABAMA ELMORE COUNTY MARRIAGE LICENSE TO ANY ORDAINED MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL, JUDGE OF THE SUPREME, CIRCUIT OR CITY COURT OR CHANCELLOR WITHIN THIS STATE, JUDGE OF PROBATE OR JUSTICE OF THE PEACE WITHIN THIS COUNTY. GREETING: You are hereby Authorized to SOLEMNIZE THE RITES OF MATRIMONY BETWEEN Jim Smith and Meter Marbly and this shall be your sufficient authority for so doing. Given under my hand and seal this 10 day of January 1914. M.D. Still, Judge of Probate. The above named parties were married by me at Titus on the 11th day of Jan, 1914. [Signature]
