- Why was George Howard, Jno. Strength and Marin Fuller rushed off to this coal mines without first being examined as required by law, to ascertain whether or not they were physically able to stand the heavy work that would be imposed on them? We understand that Mr Howard's health is very bad and that it is very likely that his life will pay the forfit of this rash act of the prison authorities. John Strength is ruptured and Martin Fuller has Rheumatism, neither of whom can stand mine work. Will some one answer why these men have been treated so inhumanly.
