Six Mile, June 4- At blockton, the county, yesterday a negro named johnston attacked a white lady, Mrs. Crawford, overpowered her and accomplished his horrible design to that extent that she was badly hurt. The report is that her arm was broken and she was not able to state what the extent of her injuries were. The negro was taken up at once by the white men of that place, hung to a tree and shot. Seven bullet holes were found in his body. He was still hanging this morning, the white men refusing to bury him and the negroes wouldn’t go near him. This is the way we settle them in Bibb.
