- Will Hill was lynched for being present during the murder of Mrs. Hubbard. He was captured by fifty men. He was in a cabin, others stated he was not there, but the posse broke down the door and took him. Everything was quiet during the entire process. Hill stood on a pine box and then shot. He was later removed and buried.
