- Webb, Alexander (d.1867). Alabama. Harness maker. An agent for the black-owned Mobile Nationalist, Webb also served as register in 1867, was a local Republican party activist, and was a delgate to the party's 1867 state convention. He was murdered in 1867 in Greensboro, allegedly for insulting a white man.
