The Governor After Lynchers. Montgomery, Ala., May 15. The governor has instructed Sheriff Ful-gham of Jefferson county to ferret out the lynchers of the negro women who poisoned the Kelly family. The sheriff writes the governor that he has attempted to find gome evidence of the lynchers, bnt that it is an uphill job to do ae. The sheriff believes that the lynching party oonBisted of only about a dozen men, bnt the entire neighborhood is in sympathy with the hanging and would protect the lynchers against identification rather than assist in their conviction. This is said to be the only instance of women being hanged in Alabama.
