ALABAMA MOB LYNCHES MAN Whites Take Negro Prisoner From Deputy Sheriff and Riddle Him Montgomery, Ala., Oct 13 — Grant Richardson, colored, of Bibb county, was lynched near Centerville by a mob of white residents of the county. He was being brought to the Bibb county jail on a charge of attacking a white woman when the deputy in charge was overpowered and the prisoner’s body riddled with bullets.
