Ku Klux are said to be riding in different parts of Greene County nearly every night, frequently flogging negroes who attend political meetings. Two colored men have lately been killed by this organization--Guilford Coleman and Edmond Patton. S. B. Browne, candidate for the legislature, has been threatened as their next victim. Hon. Charles Hays, member of Congress, and others, are also threatened. Suspicion is rolling on certain parties and evidence is accumulating which will bring some of them to justice ere long.
