The Democratic papers are calling for the contributions for the benefit of J.G.Harris, the defeated Democratic candidate for Congress in this District, as a reward for his faithful services in the campaign. They ought also to take up a collection for the Grand Cyclops of the K.K.K., for the faithful performances of his klan. The murders, assassinations and floggings by these devils, did more for the success of the Democratic party, than any or all of the speeches of the campaign. If party work is to be rewarded, give the money to the murderers of Boyd, Guildford Coleman, the Eutaw rioters, and the negro whippers in Greene; and to the murderers of Burke, Diggs and others in Sumter.
