The case against ex-Solicitor Rufus J. Reid, on an indictment found by the grand jury at this term of the court for accepting a bribe, was tried before the Circuit Court yesterday, and the jury returned a verdict of "not guilty." The cases against the present Solicitor, Jasper N. Haney, on the same charge, and two for misdemeanor, were continued till the next term of the court.
