$175 REWARD! THE above reward will be given by Hale county, for the apprehension and delivery to N. T. James, Superintendent of Public Works, or to the Sheriff of Hale county, of the following described convicts, or $25 for each of them, except Mark Williams, for whom $50 will be paid. They made their escape from the custody of said N. T. James on the - 27th day of June, 1875, and were in irons when they left: Wilson Travis, black, weight about 125 pounds, very short, about 35 years of' age. Frank Brown, copper colored, about six feet high, weight 180 or 190 pounds, about 25 years of age.
Mark Williams, black, about five feet high, weight about 160 pounds, and about 30 years old. Has several front teeth out. Jack Brown, black, about five feet high, weight about 150 pounds, and about 25 years old. "Henry Johnson, yellow, about six feet high, weight about 160 pounds, and about 30 years old. George Robinson, copper colored, about five feet high, weight about 125 pounds, and is about 24 or 25 years of age."
