"ATTACHMENT NOTICE.R. H. CLARKE, ADM'R OF
FLEMING COLEMAN,vs.LOUIS FORTNER AND
MCFARLAND & HINSON,
GARNISHEES.} Attachment.WHEREAS, R. H. CLARKE, Administrator, &c., having applied to the undersigned, W. F. Glover, a Justice of the Peace, in due form of law, for a garnishment against the funds of Louis Fortner, and having obtained the same; and, whereas, it appears to me that the said Fortner is not a resident of this State; now, the said Fortner is hereby notified of the pendency of the said garnishment; that the same has been served on the garnishee of the said Fortner, and that if the said Fortner do not appear before me at my office, in the county of Marengo, State of Alabama, on the 2nd day of January, A. D. 1871, I will proceed to give judgment on the said garnishment in the same manner as if the said Fortner was present to answer and defend the same; and I will, as the law directs, award execution or other process as the case may require.Given under my hand, this 25th of November, A.
