We Learn that a negro man named Levi Cochran alias stringfellow was shot and killed on Friday of last week, between 11 and 12o'clock, AM, near the T.B. Randolph prarie plantation, about five miles from greensboro, by two white men, who were not recognized by the parties who saw them. The negro was known to be a very dangerous character- having, we understand, murdered two white men in tuskaloosa county some twelve months ago. Since his death his wife has acknowledged his guilt of the murders in tuskaloosa county.
