Recvd of John Cocke Twenty Eight hundred and Sixty Nine Dollars and Sixty Seven cents. for the purchase of, and in full payment for the following named slaves (to wit) man Daniel (or Dan) aged about 24 years, man Allen aged about 22 years, and Girl Ann about 11 years, and her increase. I warrant said negroes Sound and title good, as witness my hand and seal this the 25th day of May 1858
