The undersigned citizens would respectfully [hinge?] the [base?] of the convict [[Flanigan, Seabarn|Seabarn Flanigan]] to the notice of your clemency I do hereby intreat to release him from the remainder of the term to which he is sentenced in the state prison. Although guilty and justly sentenced we think he has been sufficiently punished and as he has a family depending on his exertions for support and also we are [affirmed?] the individual as [unclear] whom he committed the trespass in satisfied we think the publick can certain no injury and do heartily recommend him to your mercy.
