Present and presiding the Honorable [[Shorlent, John Gill|John Gill Shorlent]] One of the [[Judge|Judges]] of the [[Circuit Court|Circuit Court]] of said state. - The following proceedings were had [abbreviation]:

Roney]] [[Hayes, James|James Hayes]] [[Pennel, William|William Pennel]] [Matthews, L.P.|L.P. Matthews]] [[Chester, Martin|Martin Chester]] [[Chester, Mac|Mac Chester]] and [[Blanton, John|John Blanton]] did commit an [[assault|assault]] on [[Braswell, Nancy Ann|Nancy Ann Braswell]] against the peace and dignity of the State of Alabama

Lance the [[Attorney General|Attorney General]] who prosecuted for the State and the Defendants and their own proper persons who for plea severely say they are guilty and therefore Lance a Jury of . good and lawful men [similar abbreviation as above] Who prepare their Oaths do say they find the Defendant [[Walterman, Nathaniel N.|Nathaniel N. Walterman]] guilty and assess his [[fine|fine]] <s>of</s> as Two Hundred Dollars and that they find all other defendants - not guilty It is therefore Considered by the Court that the Defendants [[Chester, Martin|Martin Chester]] [Hayes, James|James Hayes]] [[Chester, Mac|Mac Chester]] [[Roney, John A|John A.
