he was present at the Spring term of [[Henry County (Ala.)|Henry Co.]] [[Circuit Court|Circuit Court]], and heard a case tried, the state of Alabama, vs [[Walterman, Nathaniel N.|Nathaniel N. Walterman]] [[Heays, James|James Heays]], [[Chester, Martin|Martin Chester]], [[Chester, Mac|Mac Chester]], [[Matthews, Levi P.|Levi P. Matthews]] , [[Murry, Joseph|Joseph Murry]], [[Hedaman, Thomas|Thomas Hedaman]] + [[Roaney, John A.|John A. Roaney]] — for an [[Assault|Assault]] + [[Batttery|Battery]], on Miss [[Brasswell, Nancy|Nancy Brasswell]]. Witness declared [[Brasswell, Nancy|Nancy Brasswell]] testify on the trial of said case. That [[Walterman, Nathaniel N.|Nathaniel N. Walterman]] entered her house with a gun in his hands :— Witness states that the said [[Walterman, Nathaniel N.|Nathaniel N. Walterman]] did not enter the House, neither did he have any gun pistol or any other kind of firemarm. Witness also testifies that he heard Miss [[Brasswell, Marth Ann Eliza|Martha Ann Eliza Brasswell]] swear on said Trial, That The said [[Walterman, Nathaniel N.|Nathaniel N. Walterman]] did enter the House where Miss [[Brasswell, Nancy|Nancy Brasswell]] was. with a gun in his hands and presented it at her Mother Miss [[Brasswell, Nancy|Nancy Brasswell]] .
