[[Moore, Andrew B. (Andrew Barry), 1807-1873|Gov. A. B. Moore]]
Dr Sir. The case of Solamn E Robbins who in the [[Prisons|penetintiery]] for stealing a horse in [[Coosa County (Ala.)|Coosa County]] has been brought to my attention by [Misses?] Alex Smith & Thomas Smith and proven facts that have been brought to light since his conviction. I am satis-fied that he is a suitable object for [[Capital punishment|Execution]] [[Clemency|clemency]]. He found guilty on the [[Trial|Trial]] and being quite young and his relations taking no interest in him, accounts chance-less for his not making a defense at the time—In view there of all circumstances I [viewed?] respectfully ask that you [[Pardon|pardon]] him
truly yours
[G L?] Royston
