To His Excellency,
[[Moore, Andrew B. (Andrew Barry), 1807-1873|A.B. Moore]].
Having Been Solicitor for the 2nd Judicial Circuit in 1847, I prosecuted to conviction [[Pearson, Reuben|Rueben Pearson]], who was charged with [[murder|murder]] in the [[Circuit courts|Circuit Court]] of [[Dallas County (Ala.)|Dal-las County]]. Finding from the report of the inspectors of the Penitentiary, that since his impris-onment, the conduct of the said Pearson has been unexceptionable, and considering his advanced age, he being nearly seventy: I recommend to your Excellency, the of the remainder of his term of imprisonment, believing that it wold not be inconsistent with the public good, to do so.
