[[Mobile (Ala.)|Mobile]] March 9th 1859
Dear Sir,
at the February term of the
city-Court Jack a [[Slave|slave]] was [[Crucifiction|crucified]] and
sentenced under section 3308 of the courts.

This section admits of [mr.?] alter-
nation when the [techerwice?] offense in murder
when the [slaer?] who then dreams a door to com-
mit a rope is hanged, and as is the slave
who varies his masters [Catch?] to put a piece
of bread: In this case the offence was
much and beyond air [sounded?], but [there?]
was [little?] of [apreciation?]. If you think
the execution can temper their hand much
of laws this case seems to me to [appeare?]
to your democracy.
