I enclose application for
Ridley Barron's detail from service in the
"Second Class Militia" His case is highly
meritorious as he has a large dependant
family - has been during the war, working
at very moderate [prices?] and is much
needed in the neighborhood
His application is signed by our
most worthy and respectable citizens
and we hope you will have his
Exemption forwarded at your earliest
convenience, which will much oblige
