Waller, Shff of Montgomery County, certify that the above is a true and correct statement of all the returns that have been made to me, of the election held on the 24th Inst. for Lieutenant Colonel, of the first Battalion of the 24th Regiment- For Major of the Second Battalion - and for Captain and Lieutenant- and that M. M. Nall- is elected ^Lieutenant Colonel- J. P. Clark is elected Major- Richard Olin is elected Captain, and H. Smith is elected first Lieutenant- They having received a majority of all the votes polled-
