Dear Sir
I have sent you
by to days mail ten state Bonds
of one thousand dollars each
as per agreement. Upon their receipt
you will please inclose my receipt
for the draft given me for ten
thousand dollars on the Mobile Bank.
The bonds as you see will bear
interest from the first day of April
1861- There will therefore be a small
amount due you which will be paid
as soon as I am informed that
the draft is paid.
