Meet The Team

 

Emily Bibb is the curator and collections manager for the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art at The University of Alabama. Bibb serves as lead cataloguer on the Joe Minter team.

 

 

Camryn Brooks, from Hoover, Alabama, recently received an MLIS from the University of Alabama. Brooks served as an intern on the Joe Minter Project during the summer of 2022.

 

 

Eric Courchesne is Geospatial Services Manager at The University of Alabama. Courchesne is a manager on the Joe Minter project and liaison with the Souls Grown Deep foundation.

 

 

 

Lauren Davis is a recent art graduate from Shelton State Community College from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Davis served as an intern on the Joe Minter Project during the summer of 2022.

 

 

Jasmin C. Howard is a PhD candidate in history at Michigan State University and A & S post-doctoral associate at The University of Alabama. Howard serves as an oral historian on the Joe Minter team.

 

 

 April Lacey is a fine arts major at Fisk University from Chicago, Illinois. Lacey served as an intern on the Joe Minter Project during the summer of 2022.

 

 

 

Genesis Leonard is a fine arts major at Alabama State University from Montgomery, Alabama. Leonard served as an intern on the Joe Minter Project during the summer of 2022.

 

 

Dr. Anne Ladyem McDivitt is Assistant Professor and Digital Humanities Librarian at the Alabama Digital Humanities Center. McDivitt serves as lead Omeka consultant on the project.

 

 

Lizzie Orlofsky, from Troy, Alabama, recently received an MA in Art History from The University of Alabama. Orlofsky serves on the Joe Minter team.

 

Dr. Rachel Stephens

 

Dr. Rachel Stephens is an associate professor at The University of Alabama. Stephens manages the Joe Minter Project website and internship program.

 

 

Kadeer Wellington is a double major in data science and art at Fisk University from Nassau, the Bahamas. Wellington served as an intern on the Joe Minter Project during the summer of 2022.
