Paul Alexander disagrees with Dr. Fauci\u2019s press officers about the importance of children and university students getting tests \u201cin a widespread manner.\u201d&nbsp; In&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/09\/09\/emails-show-hhs-muzzle-fauci-410861\">emails obtained by Politico<\/a>, Alexander critiques a pre-planned statement by Dr. Fauci. Alexander writes, \u201cI continue to have an issue with kids getting tested and repeatedly and even university students in a widespread manner\u2026and I disagree with Dr. Fauci on this. Vehemently.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Aug 28: A 25-year-old man from Nevada&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajmc.com\/view\/what-we-re-reading-covid-19-reinfection-in-us-remdesivir-use-expanded-colon-cancer-screening\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\">became reinfected<\/a>&nbsp;with COVID-19 in late May after recovering from a mild case in April, reports say. It marks the first reported case of reinfection in the United States; the second occurrence resulted in a much more severe case, requiring hospitalization and oxygen. A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajmc.com\/view\/first-case-of-covid-19-reinfection-detected-in-the-us\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\">full study<\/a>&nbsp;of the case is published in&nbsp;<em>Lancet Infectious Disease Journal<\/em>&nbsp;in October.<\/p>\n<p>Aug 29: The Kenosha police <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/live-updates-protests-for-racial-justice\/2020\/08\/28\/907316697\/police-union-in-kenosha-wis-provide-account-of-jacob-blake-shooting\">release<\/a> a report saying that Jacob Blake had a knife and resisted arrest before police officers shot him in front of his children. Protests and marches <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/tens-thousands-set-march-knee-off-necks-protest\/story?id=72469277\">continue<\/a>.
