As of today\u2019s count, he\u2019s officially passed the nearly 2,000 delegate vote needed to gain the nod from the Democratic National Convention. And he promises, as expected, unity.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino;\">This is a difficult time in America\u2019s history. And Donald Trump\u2019s angry, divisive politics is no answer. The country is crying out for leadership. Leadership that can unite us. Leadership that can bring us together. We need an economy that works for everyone \u2014 now. We need jobs that bring dignity \u2014 now. We need equal justice \u2014 and equal opportunities \u2014 for every American now. We need a president who cares about helping us heal \u2014 now. \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino;\">Today, I\u2019m once again asking every American who feels knocked down, counted out, and left behind, to join our campaign. Where is the \u201cjustice\u201d in \u201cunity\u201d? \u201cJustice\u201d is going to cost something. \u201cJustice\u201d is passing that cost along from the powerful to the powerless.
