Jan 13: Thailand reports its first case of the novel coronavirus.
Jan 14: WHO tweets that Chinese authorities have found no evidence of human to human spread. The Wuhan Municipal Health Committee states that they have not found evidence of human to human transmission, but it cannot be ruled out. This is repeated by the head of the WHO’s emerging diseases unit. The Democratic Presidential Primary Debate happens. *
